academyEX invites all staff, students and alumni to join the most electrifying professional research symposium on November 24th. Don’t miss the chance to share your groundbreaking ideas and network with fellow research enthusiasts.

Workshop presentation
Workshops will support professional development for staff and students as well as an opportunity to build research skills.
Presentation Format
In-person 30 mins - 1 hour.
Submission Format
500 words maximum see submission template.
Research presentation
Research presentations will include background information, a description of the work undertaken, results achieved and discussion or conclusions.
Presentation format
10-minute presentation plus 5-minute Q&A (then 5 minutes enabling a changeover for rooms).
Submission format
An extended abstract of up to 1500-2000 words
The authors will be Invited to publish full paper in He Rourou
Poster presentation
Posters will be an opportunity to visually share and showcase projects and development initiatives and discuss these with Symposium delegates. These do not need to represent completed projects.

Printed posters: A0 or A1 size
Submission format
500 word abstract not including references, using the aEX Symposium poster abstract template.
Can anyone present?
Absolutely! The symposium is open to all staff, students and alumni from academyEX, whether you're a seasoned researcher or a newcomer exploring the field.
What’s the application deadline?
Mark your calendars, the deadline for submission is September 11th. Don't procrastinate!
What topics are welcome?
We encourage a wide variety of research topics. Just make sure it's mind-blowing and sparks excitement!
